L'applicazione propone una serie dipercorsisulla via pulchritudis alla scoperta dei segni dell'artesacracustoditi negli edifici storici del territorio diocesano.Punto dipartenza è la cattedrale dedicata a Maria SS. Annunziata,sintesidella storia religiosa della città di Acireale ed edificiocentraledello spazio barocco di piazza Duomo.Si prosegue quindi con le altre due basiliche delcentroionico-etneo caratterizzate dalle sperimentazioni artistichedelSettecento, in cui l'unità delle arti è indirizzata allaricercadella teatralità degli spazi e delle decorazioni.
